creative technologies testimony

Creative Technology is very versatile and you gain practical experience in many different areas. The variation in projects appeals to me. One moment you are working on an artistic assignment, the next you are following a structured approach.

Why this program?

VR, AR, games, 3D environments, UI/UX design, web apps, interactive stories, and immersive experiences—our program will enable you to shape the future of interactive media.

The Bachelor of Science in Creative Technologies is an engineering degree like no other. Encompassing a broad, transdisciplinary course of study, the degree blends creativity and design with a rigorous engineering curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative production. Attracting designers, technologists, makers and inventors who seek diverse and adaptable skills, the degree opens doors to a wide range of 21st-century challenges and opportunities.

We consult closely with industry professionals so you can expect a course that’s highly relevant and equips you with sought-after skills. We offer small classes and one-on-one mentoring opportunities you may not find in a larger university.

With a solid engineering foundation, the interdisciplinary program caters to an emerging generation of hybrid students. Graduates from the Global Bachelor’s degree in Creative Technologies develop skills that extend beyond traditional engineering disciplines, eagerly producing technical and creative projects that integrate both engineering and design. Assessment of your growth as a creative practitioner will rely on completing industry-based projects, building a portfolio to showcase to potential employers or clients  in the entertainment and communication industry.

The Global Degree includes a mandatory international semester at one of the leading schools in the area, such as Abertay University (Scotland) and NABA | New Academy of Fine Arts (IT).

With The Global Bachelor in Creative Technologies I will develop work that addresses complex interdisciplinary problems, applying principles of engineering, computational thinking, and design using industry standard and emerging technologies. / I will engage in iterative design and production to contribute novel functionalities, aesthetics or interactions. / Each semester is based on a unique and real-world project and briefs, and explores a different technological area, I will have opportunities to build a significant portfolio of projects to share with an employer or first client in video production & editing, digital cinematography, virtual and/or augmented reality, Internet of Things. / As my skills develop and my work on more dynamic projects, I will apply my capabilities to cross-discipline projects by collaborating with other students across all disciplines of the school. / I will work on multi-sensory and creative brand activation solutions and creating solutions that are tested in real events. / I will experience what it’s like to work as part of a professional team, finding solutions to complex problems via group projects. / I will use Augmented Reality (AR) in fashion, create Virtual Reality (VR) experiences or produce video mapping. / I will gain capabilities such as problem solving, critical self-reflection , entrepreneurship, and other industry related skills.

Learning by design

| Every academic program has been designed to provide clear and ambitious learning outcomes. These learning outcomes give you an understanding of what you will be able to do at the end of the course. We develop each academic program by designing modules that grow your abilities towards the learning outcomes and help you to explain what you can offer to employers.
